Handover Inspection Report
Handover inspection report
A handover inspection report is a building report given to the buyer of a newly constructed home. So before the buyer officially takes possession of the new property they are given a handover inspection report.
This report essentially outlines the work that has been carried out on the property to the agreed standards. In this report, we’ll also identify (if there are any) defects, incomplete finishes, and other details that might fall short of industry standards.
The bottom line is that if there is poor workmanship, we’ll identify it. Hopefully, everything is in order, but an inspection is essential to verify if the property is complete and ready for you to move in.
If you’d like to book a handover inspection report, first make sure the building construction is completely finished. Verify this with your tradesman or contractor. This is really the final stage of construction.
Please contact us at (02) 8712 6792 to book a handover inspection or if you have any questions about the service.

Have been using Alan from AJ Engineering for just over 1 year now for expert reports and structural design and advice for my projects. Highly recommend him and his team.

We were absolutely delighted with Alan's work. He was courteous, professional and respectful in every interaction. He came out in heavy rain and stayed up late to get a report done that we needed quickly without any complaint. His report was extremely thorough and gave us a comprehensive understanding of the work necessary to stabilise the house we are purchasing. Alan's work was far more comprehensive than a standard building and pest report. We will be recommending Alan to all friends purchasing property from now on.

I highly recommend AJ Engineering. Alan was very professional and detailed in his report. He was a great communicator from first contact with him and throughout the process. He ensured we understood what the assessment meant and gave us great advice. We are very grateful for Alan and are very happy to have had him as our engineer. Thank you very much.

During my home renovation works I came stuck with a load bearing wall and needed urgent Engineering advice. AJ Engcon were extremely helpful and responsive during some stressful times and provided me some very cost effective options. Would easily use again and strongly recommend to all those seeking.
